Fantasia Says: "I wasn't saying I'm against gay people"

Fantasia is back in the news again but this time she says, "I support the LGBT Community"

In her mot recent interview with www.frontiersla.com Fantasia had this to say

"I wasn’t saying I’m against gay people. All I was saying was stop trying to judge people, getting on my page and getting on my Twitter and quoting scriptures and telling me what I did was a sin. Let people live their life. All this stuff you’re quoting, nobody’s doing that right now. Yes, the Bible speaks that, but come on! It’s 2013.

Everybody in this world has a story. Nobody’s perfect but Jesus. I’m not trying to be perfect. I never have, I never will. I just want to live my life. Do I try to do good? I do. Do I try to do good by people? I do. I never want to hurt anyone. I never want to disrespect anyone or tear anyone down. So that’s all I was saying—stop tearing people down and judging folks. Move the hell on with your life. The people who have something to say have a bunch of skeletons in their closet, too. Fall back.

Then people started pretending they were me and putting up quotes on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, like, “I am a Christian and I stand for only things that are said in the Bible.” The people who looked at my Instagram and took that and twisted it got joy and satisfaction out of feeling, “Yes, we were able to make her look like a bad person.” The people who really know Fantasia should’ve known that was a bunch of B.S. If you look back at my history, I’ve done many, many gay Prides. I’ve been to many events where there’s a marriage or something going on. I know they’d realize, “She couldn’t have said that.” I am a Christian, but I grew up in a church where there were gay people in the church. If you knew me, you’d know that is not something I would ever say. It was just somebody lurking, trying to start more drama in Fantasia’s world."

He has shared the stage with everyone from Patti Labelle to Wale and has performed everywhere, from Barbados to Paris. He has simultaneously captured the attention of the music and fashion worlds by masterfully combining the two art forms and creating his own brand derived from Roman rule.

Starting May 20, 2013 Septimius takes the east coast by storm and continues his sonically sultry assault on the industry as he tours the globe. ASCAP's Golden Note Award is presented to songwriters, composers and artists who have achieved extraordinary career milestones. Previous honorees include Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jermaine Dupri, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Jay-Z, Quincy Jones, Alicia Keys, LL Cool J, Lionel Richie, Pharrell Williams and Stevie Wonder,.

“I take the art of songwriting and music-making very seriously, so to be given the ASCAP Golden Note Award from an organization of my fellow music creators is a huge honor,” said Usher. “I’ve been blessed to have such a wonderful career, working with some of the most talented people in the business, and I am just getting started!”

ASCAP President and Chairman Paul Williams commented: “Usher’s musical evolution over the years clearly proves his versatility and longevity as an artist, performer and songwriter. Usher (full name Usher Raymond IV) first rose to fame in the late 1990s with the release of his second album My Way, which spawned his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit, "Nice & Slow." The album, which has since been certified 6-times platinum by the RIAA, displayed Usher’s talent for songwriting by co-writing six of the nine songs. His third studio album, 8701 (2001), quickly reached multi-platinum status and went on to sell over four million copies, bringing Usher his first Grammy win in 2001 for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance; a category in which he repeated a win in 2002 for “U Don’t Have to Call.” His next album Confessions (2004) took the music world by storm and is Usher’s most successful album to date, making him the first artist to top the charts with four consecutive number one songs (“Yeah,” “Confessions, Pt. 2,” “Burn,” and “My Boo”). His most recent albums – Here I Stand, Raymond v. Raymond and Looking 4 Myself – introduced the world to several massive hits, including “Love In This Club,” “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” and “Scream.” The RIAA ranks Usher as one of the best-selling artists in American music history, having sold over 23 million copies in the United States alone. To date, he has sold over 50 million records worldwide, making him one of the best selling music artists of all time.

Top awards will be given to the Songwriter of the Year, Publisher of the Year, Top R&B/Hip-Hop Song, Top Rap Song and Top Gospel Song. Super Girl Group Danity Kane Reuniting

Do you have a first aid kit handy? Danity Kane, the five-piece girl group formed by Diddy on MTV's "Making The Band" in 2005, may just be reuniting to unleash some more damage upon Top 40 radio.

According to TMZ, four of Danity Kane's members -- Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, Dawn Richard and Aubrey O'Day -- met for lunch in Los Angeles on Monday (May 13), and when asked if a reunion was in the works, the ladies coyly shied away from the question. D. Woods, the fifth DK member, was apparently not present. Sources inform TMZ that a reunion is definitely coming together, although no details have been released yet.

When asked if Diddy, who signed Danity Kane to his Bad Boy label following their "Making The Band" stint, is involved with the project, O'Day replied, "Who's that?" Clearly, the Danity Kane members do not agree with the sentiment behind Diddy's 2001 single "Bad Boy For Life."

Danity Kane released two albums, a 2006 self-titled effort and 2008's "Welcome to the Dollhouse," before disbanding in early 2009. Both albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and have accumulated combined sales of 1.5 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The group supported Christina Aguilera on her Back To Basics tour in 2007 and scored hits like "Show Stopper" and "Damaged."

Since Danity Kane's split, Richard became a member of Diddy-Dirty Money alongside singer Kalenna Harper and The Artist Formerly Known as Puff Daddy. Her solo debut, "Goldenheart," was self-released in January to rave reviews.
